Visual Record of Your Child
……………………………………………………………………………………………………‘Learning Journals’ are a brilliant way of parents/carers to see a unique visual record of what their child has been busy doing at Liberty Kids!
Learning journals links will be sent out via email upon your child starting at Liberty Kids, from here you can create your own account.
Once you login you can view photographs of your child, alongside ‘observations’ that are linked to either ‘Realising the Ambition: Being Me’’ or the ‘Curriculum for Excellence (CfE)’, depending upon your child’s age.
Tracking your child’s experiences and outcomes whilst at nursery through ‘observation’s’ also shows your child’s next steps for further learning.
Learning journals provides a link for communication from home, on here you can comment on your child’s observations. You can also upload your own ‘WOW Moment’ observations from home. We can create links with this at nursery too for example if you had visited the farm and your little one really enjoyed it, then at nursery we could bring out some farm activities.
Daily Diaries – Explorers
Your child’s daily routine can accessed via the daily diary, this will show you activities your child has been taken part in for the day, what they have eaten and had to drink. As well as details on their sleeping pattern and all nappy changes.
