Our outdoor garden has been designed to create a magical, intimate yet natural space and incorporates some very special features – our wonderful edible garden, a fabulous mud kitchen, sand pit, play house and central story zone.  With a focus on fostering a love of nature the environment offers endless opportunities to learn and grow.

Outdoor play encourages healthy physical activity, team play and social inclusion for your child and is incorporated into the days activities, unless the conditions are simply too severe, we go out regardless. If it’s cold and rainy, we snuggle up in woollies, wellies and waterproofs, and get on with it, whatever the weather. The children love it!

A range of play resources are available to help children develop an array of skills, and great care is taken to choose materials and resources that will create an inspiring sensory experience. We use real life props, such as brushes and gardening tools, and small-world toys to help build a child’s imagination and language skills.
